Almor attended the SEA - CHTA Conference & Dinner

Almor attended the SEA / CHTA Conference & Dinner on Friday at Chesford Grange and a good day was had by all, despite the rather ominous date! We were pleased to be joined by representatives from both BMI & Codere, whom we represent in the UK & Ireland

The table top display seemed to go down well with the Swiss choccies disappearing fast and old acquaintances being renewed with both customers and competitors alike.

BMI made a presentation within the Heat Treatment Programme covering ‘Technology of Vacuum furnace Cooling rate Control with Gas & Oil Quenching’.  As the title suggests this focussed on BMI’s specialist equipment which can achieve both controlled cooling under nitrogen and oil quenching – all within the same furnace.

Codere’s presentation was titled ‘Operating Experience with Modular Controlled Atmosphere Heat Treatment Systems’ and covered the many benefits of their unique modular system, the biggest of which is the flexibility to quench from the furnace directly to oil, salt, water or gas whilst still under atmosphere.

The day finished with a drinks reception and dinner, going into the early hours so it was a tired and somewhat subdued journey to the airport at 6.00 am Saturday morning!

 See you in two years!
