ALMOR has recently strengthened its engineering capability with the recruitment of Paul Nicholas (ex Vacuum & Atmosphere and Ipsen). Together with Mark Manison (ex V.F.E.) and Peter Nolan (ex Marathon Monitors and Ipsen), Almor can now offer a vacuum service capability, based on many years of experience on most makes of vacuum furnace.
Products and services offered include on-site maintenance contracts, routine and emergency service support and leak detection. Almor also offer hot zone spares and heating elements together with complete relines. Vacuum gauge calibration and pump overhaul and repairs can also be carried out.
The Process Control Division of Almor can provide upgrades to existing electrical panels to meet the requirements of the latest quality standards, including NADCAP and AMS 2750D. These can comprise complete new systems or retrofits to existing parts using the latest programmable controllers and data acquisition systems.
In addition to the above, Almor has extended its on-site calibration services to include vacuum furnaces. TUS (temperature uniformity survey) reports are a mandatory part of AMS 2750D pyrometry compliance. All Almor TUS are supported by a comprehensive report which meets the requirements of AMS 2750D.
